Ken Falke
Ken Falke, a 21-year combat Veteran of the U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal community and retired Master Chief Petty Officer, joins the HillVets Advisory Board. Mr. Falke joins former Secretary of Defense and United States Senator Chuck Hagel in this capacity to guide the organization into its continuation of growth and service.
Mr. Falke is highly respected around the world as an innovative and forward thinking thought leader on the subjects of wounded warrior care, military and Veteran transition, counterterrorism and training and technology development. Ken is the current CEO of Shoulder 2 Shoulder Inc., a technology and multi-media company, in addition to the chairman and founder of Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness and the EOD Warrior Foundation.
“I spent time early in my naval career in the Navy-Marine Corps Congressional Liaison office on Capital Hill. I know first hand the importance of quality staff on the Hill and with today’s political climate, I cannot think of a better place for veterans to serve and really be afforded the opportunity to shape our nation’s policy”, said Ken Falke.
Mr. Falke recently addressed the HillVets community at the HillVets 100, where he spoke about the importance of innovative solutions to veteran mental health care and the crucial experience and expertise veterans have to offer to post-military careers. He was also awarded with the HillVets Nonprofit of the Year Award for his work leading Boulder Crest Retreat.
“We’re honored to have Mr. Falke join our new Advisory Board. His experience leading veterans-focused nonprofits is not only inspiring, but will be incredibly valuable as we grow HillVets’s capacity to serve.” said HillVets Executive Director Justin Brown.
