The South Fairfax Chamber of Commerce (SFCC) has elected Thomas W. Repczynski, an Offit Kurman shareholder and Estate and Trust Litigation attorney, as the Chamber’s new Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Repczynski succeeds previous Chairman Tim Rizer, who launched the SFCC in 2008.

“I am honored and humbled that my colleagues on the Board have the faith and confidence in me, along with our Vice Chairman, local businessman and community activist, Peter Weyland, to represent and lead the Board and the Chamber as we look to assist and promote smart and sustainable business development in our part of the county,” said Mr. Repczynski. “It is a little daunting to be following in Tim’s footsteps, but I welcome the incredible opportunity to be working with him and our enthusiastic Board to energize the South Fairfax business community.”

Comprised of businesses, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit organizations active in the southern area of Fairfax County, VA, the SFCC is committed to sustainably building and developing the region’s burgeoning business community. The Chamber provides its members with networking opportunities, marketing and advertising, and other services while establishing dialogues between local businesses, civic leaders, and the general public. More than 400 organizations and individuals, representing virtually every business category, hold memberships with the SFCC.

Mr. Repczynski’s Board election follows his recent appointment as an Offit Kurman shareholder late last year. As one of the founding attorneys at the firm’s Virginia office, he has dedicated himself to the region’s business owners, nonprofits, banks, and individual fiduciaries and beneficiaries.
