Brown Edwards, a regional certified public accounting firm based in Roanoke, announced Wednesday that Laura Sprouse and Tim George have joined the partnership.
Sprouse is the firm’s administrator. Her responsibilities include the information technology and training areas. She has worked more than 18 years in public accounting and offers expertise in training personnel, automation and utilization of information technology in the workplace. She specializes in the selection and implementation of accounting information systems for clients and the firm.
George serves in the firm’s assurance area. He specializes in accounting, taxation and various consulting services for privately held firms in the construction and engineering and design industries and has experience dealing with employee benefit plans.
