Everyone wants the ball, says Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden.
A fistful of running backs wants to dominate. The receiving corps may be the NFL's deepest. The tight end unit certainly offers four options. Even offensive tackle Trent Williams jokes of getting a chance to score instead of block.
"It's one of the greatest challenges an offensive coordinator has -- trying to keep everybody happy," Gruden said. "Luckily, we feel like we have some unselfish guys around here, and the important thing is getting a victory -- whether we run the ball 50 times or throw the ball 60 times."
Gruden spent the offseason once more reworking his offense. At least the Redskins have a firm starting quarterback for once.
