
David Brown, CPA
Tollos, Inc., an American company and leading manufacturer and distributor of safe patient handling (SPH) products for the healthcare industry, today announced it has hired David Brown, CPA as its vice president of finance.
Brown will be responsible for Tollos’ finance department and provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning and budget management functions. He will manage the preparation of all financial reports, outlooks, and forecasts. Brown will also assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Brown will report to Tollos’ President and CEO, Jon Winer.
Brown joins Tollos from QC Corporation/Verdesian Life Sciences, where he served as controller. He has over 20 years of experience in the accounting industry and specializes in accounting systems design, cash flow management, capital budgeting, and pricing analysis. Brown successfully developed and maintained a unit cost model that led to price increase from principal customer and joint venture partner of approximately $1,000,000 annually in the last two years. He also designed reporting and auditing systems that helped reduce the monthly close from 15 days to five. Brown has also been corporate controller for American Wood Fibers, Inc., chief financial officer of Matthews Media Group, and controller for Standard Auto Parts Corp.

Brown earned his Bachelor of Science, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Baltimore.
