A year ago in Week Three, these two teams squared off in the Meadowlands, but with their roles almost reversed, as it was the Giants who were 0-2 and the Redskins who were 1-1. In other words, last year it was the Giants who were the wounded dogs on the verge of a lost season -- they responded to that role and beat the Redskins rather easily, 32-21. But in that game, it was the 0-2 Giants that were playing at home. The 0-2 team this time, the Redskins, is traveling. The Redskins were 3-5 on the road in 2015, while the Giants were 3-5 at home. One interesting positive note for the Redskins is, in the last four weeks of the 2015 season, they traveled three times to play in Chicago, Philadelphia and Dallas, and they won all three games. I am going to put some stock in the Redskins' late-season road record, and I feel it may have a carryover effect. Quarterback Kirk Cousins, with the support of his head coach, plays up to the moment.

Redskins 24, Giants 19
