Can Nationals Survive Injuries In Postseason?

It seems like the Washington Nationals are eliminated before the MLB playoffs even begin.

Second baseman Daniel Murphy has a strained glute muscle and may not be ready when the Nats play the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Division Series beginning Oct. 7. Right fielder Bryce Harper jammed his thumb. Right-hander Stephen Strasburg has an elbow injury and won't pitch against Los Angeles and could miss the entire postseason. Catcher Wilson Ramos is out with a torn ACL.

That's four All-Stars. Of the team's top players from the midseason, only right-handed pitcher Max Scherzer is healthy. Forget the NL East pennant flying high above Nationals Park -- it's a white flag.
