The Baltimore Ravens fired offensive coordinator Marc Trestman Oct. 10 following a 16-10 loss to the Washington Redskins Oct. 9. While the dismissal certainly wasn't based on one game, it serves as a lesson to the Redskins' coaching staff on how not to beat yourself.
Washington has a terrible run defense, and Trestman attacked it on the opening drive. Baltimore ran the ball on six of its first seven plays, before two short passes gave the Ravens a 7-0 lead. It looked like a long day lay ahead for the Redskins, as the Ravens gained 74 yards on 11 carries in the first quarter.
