Maryland center Damonte Dodd is entering his senior year for the Terps after three successful seasons as a defensive stalwart in the paint. As one of two seniors -- and the only player in his fourth year in the program -- Dodd helped represent the Terps at Big Ten Media Day in Washington, D.C., Oct. 13.

Dodd took a unique route to College Park, Md., playing his high school ball at Queen Anne's County High, where he dominated. The Centreville, Md., native then attended Massanutten Military Academy in 2012-13 to help prepare him for Maryland.

Dodd was used sparingly during his freshman season in 2013-14 but averaged just less than 16 minutes a game for the Terps each of the last two years. He's best known for his ability to block and alter shots in the paint, blocking 89 shots in 93 games during his college career.
