BDO USA, LLP, one of the nation’s leading accounting and consulting organizations, today announced that Eric Fahr has been admitted to the firm’s partnership. In this role, Mr. Fahr will support corporate and private equity clients on merger and acquisition engagements as part of BDO’s Transaction Advisory Services practice based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Mr. Fahr has over 20 years of experience working with clients in industries including consumer and industrial products, aerospace and defense, technology, business services, life sciences and retail. He has assisted clients on over 250 buy-side and sell-side transactions providing due diligence support and advice regarding valuation and risk mitigation. His global experience includes inbound and outbound investments to and from Canada, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, as well as several years working in Europe.

Mr. Fahr is a member of the AICPA, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia and Pennsylvania, as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst. He earned a B.S. in Accounting and in Finance with a minor in Economics from Virginia Tech.
