The good news throughout the daily fantasy football world last week was that overall fantasy scoring came back down to earth, and you didn't have to be near-perfect to cash in a double up or a 50/50. However, that was the result of some "chalk" players, big names who are counted on for big performances delivering just a handful of fantasy points -- such as Falcons wideout Julio Jones, Colts wideout T.Y. Hilton (in-game hamstring) and Chiefs running back Spencer Ware (in-game concussion), to name a few. But that's the occasional randomness of the NFL rearing its head.
The next step is to look at the reasons for such things and see if there's something to be learned for building the next week's lineups.
