Credit union recognized for contributions in support of the organization and commitment to the Hunt Valley community

Point Breeze Credit Union’s president and CEO, Bernie McLaughlin, recently accepted the Chairman’s Award from the Hunt Valley Business Forum (HVBF) for the credit union’s continued support and influence in the community. McLaughlin was also named Vice Chairman of the HVBF Board of Directors.

“Point Breeze Credit Union has been a strong advocate for the economic development and fortitude of north Baltimore,” said Carolyn Panzer, executive director of the HVBF. “We chose to honor Point Breeze for their continued service, support and contributions to the local businesses and professionals that make Hunt Valley such a thriving community.”

Additionally, McLaughlin will begin serving as Vice Chairman of the HVBF Board of Directors. In this role, he’ll support the growth of the organization, function as a voice for its members and oversee thecommunity, educational and leadership programming.

The Hunt Valley Business Forum is the premiere business and professional education resource servingthe north Baltimore region and is a strong advocate for its members on current business and community issues of common concern.

On Nov. 17, 2016 Point Breeze Credit Union will host the HVBF: Business After Hours Networking Event.
