There is no truth to the rumor Norv Turner resigned as Vikings offensive coordinator to avoid a return to the scene of his first head-coaching gig. But, seriously, this is a team that started the season 5-0, and then lost two games in a row to the Eagles and Bears in which they scored only 10 points in each. In game one of the Pat Shurmur era as offensive coordinator, the Vikings didn't show robust improvement against the Lions, losing, 22-16. Running back Adrian Peterson looks like he may be back for Week 11, which will be a week too late for this one. On the Redskins' side of things, after an 0-2 start, they are 4-1-1 and coming off the bye. I like the fresher team and the one with a truer sense of itself than the struggling Vikings on the road. Also, the Redskins have some familiarity with quarterback Sam Bradford after his 2015 season in Philadelphia.
