Terps' Lorenzo Harrison, D.J. Turner Charged In BB Gun Incidents

Maryland freshman running back Lorenzo Harrison and freshman wide receiver D.J. Turner were charged by the University of Maryland Police Department in connection to recent BB gun incidents on the University of Maryland campus, the UMPD announced Nov. 16.

Both Harrison and Turner are facing three counts of second-degree assault, three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of ED 26-101, which states that no one can "molest or threaten with bodily harm" anyone on school grounds. The pair will be arrested Nov. 16, according to the release.

"We are aware of the situation and take these matters very seriously," a statement from Maryland Athletics read. "The two student-athletes involved have been suspended indefinitely for violating the student-athlete code of conduct. This matter has also been referred to the Office of Student Conduct for further review."
