It's no surprise that, by Week 11 of the NFL season, a lot of players you're considering using in daily fantasy football lineups are missing days of practice and showing up as questionable on injury reports.
It's a familiar refrain, but we'll say it again: you need to check the inactive lists late Sunday morning. And another caution -- for the late Sunday games, steer clear of questionable players in DFS contests that lock before the 1 p.m. games, because those late-afternoon and night game inactives aren't available until later in the day.
Also, some of the most popular DFS players, such as New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees and Carolina quarterback Cam Newton, are unavailable in the main DFS contests because, well, the Saints and Panthers play on "Thursday Night Football" Nov. 17.
