Joe Jacoby Deserves To Enter Hall Of Fame

It's time -- indeed, long overdue -- for Joe Jacoby to become a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Jacoby was among 26 hopefuls named Nov. 16. While there are plenty of worthy candidates, the former Washington Redskins' offensive tackle is a clear choice Feb. 4, 2017.

Attention will surely be centered on quarterback Kurt Warner, receiver Terrell Owens, running backs LaDainian Tomlinson and Terrell Davis and safety John Lynch. The Veterans Committee recommendations of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and former NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue will also be greatly considered.

Jacoby should be used to being overlooked. It's the life of a lineman.
