This game features two teams going in opposite directions. It also features two quarterbacks going in opposite directions, with the Redskins' Kirk Cousins elevating his game on a weekly basis and the Cardinals' Carson Palmer showing a lot of cumulative wear and tear from a once-great career. The Redskins fought hard last week during a rivalry game against the Cowboys. As the ascending and better team, the Redskins will approach this week in Phoenix as a business trip, and they will take charge and stay in charge of a team whose season has slipped away.
