These two teams played at FedEx Field Oct. 16, and the Redskins won by a touchdown. That was back when the Eagles were on a roll. Lately, the Eagles have lost three consecutive games, and the Philadelphia defense has given up 85 points during that span, good for an average of 28.3 per game. Furthermore, in those losses -- at Seattle Nov. 20, at home against Green Bay Nov. 28 and last week in Cincinnati -- the Eagles seem to be discouraged. They'll be back home this week, where they are 4-1 on the season, but they'll need more than home cooking against a Redskins team that got quite a talking to from its head coach, Jay Gruden. I'm not saying the Redskins are a great team, but this is a teachable moment for them. I am betting they learn their lesson well enough to whip the Eagles and their rookie quarterback a second time.
