Michael Dunn has faced long odds before.
The former Maryland offensive tackle arrived in College Park, Md., as a 260-pound walk on in 2012, but five years later, he'll leave campus as a two-time All-Big Ten honorable mention player.
"Thinking about my career, it amazes me how I even got to this spot," Dunn said during an interview on Glenn Clark Radio March 1. "I just came out to training camp [in 2013 as a redshirt freshman] ready to go and proved everybody wrong."
Despite all his success at Maryland -- a four-year starter who anchored a line that helped the Terps rush for more than 2,500 yards in 2016 -- Dunn is essentially right back where he was when he started his collegiate career, seen by most experts as a fringe prospect who will have to work to stick at the next level.
