A reorganization at Liberty University’s online division is marked by the exit of senior leadership.
Steve Peterson, former LU vice president for admissions, and Jay Spencer, former vice provost of the LU online K-12 academy, are among departures in a reorganization of online management staff.
According to LU officials, the reorganization reflects a shift in strategy to strengthen online offerings, and employees who were laid off were offered severance packages with their departure.
