Law Firm Makes Changes In Leadership Roles

Hunton & Williams LLP has made several changes in leadership roles as it begins new fiscal year.

George C. Howell III will succeed F. William Brownell as chair of the firm’s executive committee. Brownell will serve as vice chair through this fiscal year.

Howell, who works out of the firm’s New York and Richmond offices, has served as head of Hunton & Williams’ tax and employee benefits practice. He is the immediate past chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Taxation.

Brownell is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.
