American Express OPEN, the small business division of the financial services company, recently named TFC Consulting, Inc. as the 2016 Contractor of the Year for outstanding success in government contracting.

TFC Consulting Inc (TFC) is a Rockville, MD-based CPA firm established in 2002.  Over the past 15 years the firm worked with over 30 federal agencies to help managers address financial management and regulatory compliance needs. Today, the company generates 100% of its revenue through government contracting.

Through work with agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Health and Human Services and Department of Agriculture, TFC has been able to hire additional employees – experiencing a 350% growth in staff since 2011.

TFC is an active member in the federal financial management community, and holds leadership positions within the Association of Government Accountants (AGA). TFC's large client base and active involvement in the professional community provides it with insight into recent and upcoming changes in financial management legislation and regulations and enables the firm to share with its clients leading practices in use across government.
