Lee Klumpp
BDO USA, LLP, one of the nation's leading accounting and consulting organizations, today announced that Lee Klumpp has been admitted to the firm’s partnership. In this role, Mr. Klumpp will be responsible for monitoring accounting, auditing, governance and finance issues affecting nonprofit and governmental organizations, as well as consulting with BDO clients, engagement teams and others around the country on various topics related the Single Audit Act and the OMB’s Uniformed Administrative Guidance. Previously, Mr. Klumpp was a National Assurance Director in the firm’s Greater Washington D.C. office.

Mr. Klumpp has more than 20 years of experienceserving the nonprofit and government industries and recently completed a two-year fellowship with the Financial Accounting Standard Board (FASB) in Norwalk, CT.Mr. Klumpp is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the FASB’s Nonprofit Resource Group. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Congressional Awards Foundation and the Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.He earned a B.S.in accounting from the University of Maryland.
