We are pleased to announce that our client Management Accounting and Consulting, Inc. (MAC) has been acquired by SHS Services, Inc. (SHS).

MAC, located in Middleburg, VA, provides a range of back-office support services for government contractors. These services include outsourced finance, accounting, human resources, and facility security. MAC clients support a variety of Federal Agencies including the Departments of Agriculture, Defense, Energy, Health and Human Services, and Justice.

SHS Services, located in Rockville, MD, provides payroll, bookkeeping, and business consulting to a wide variety of businesses. The acquisition of MAC will allow SHS to offer more sophisticated services to its current clients and enhance its financial services portfolio as it continues to grow.

Indian River Advisors, based in Washington, DC, is an investment banking and corporate development consulting firm that advises and assists its clients to accelerate growth and complete desired transactions at the most favorable enterprise value. The firm manages mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital formation assignments. Through the sale of our client MAC, Indian River has gained significant understanding of the business support services sector.
