Spero Ventures, a spin-out of Omidyar Network, a philanthropic investment firm funded by eBay co-founder Pierre Omidyar, has launched and raised $100 million for its debut fund, according to a blog post by Shripriya Mahesh, the new venture firm’s founding partner. The fund’s investor is Omidyar.
