Study Shows Tech Job Gains In DC

If it seems like there are more tech job postings around, the data agrees.

Tech industry association CompTIA released its annual analysis of tech job data, called Cyberstates, on Wednesday. Overall, the country added 200,000 tech jobs in 2017, the study states.

The report also breaks out the data into local areas, including D.C. Here are a few takeaways:

The report states D.C. has the fourth-highest concentration of tech workers relative to its overall employment base, with 9.7 of District workers in the field. Additionally, Maryland and Virginia are both in the top 10 in this category.
