Kate Adams and Matt Cain Join TechNet Executive Council

TechNet, the national, bipartisan network of innovation economy CEOs and senior executives, today announced the addition of two premier technology leaders to its Executive Council. Katherine “Kate” Adams, Apple’s General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Legal and Global Security, and Matt Cain, Couchbase’s President and CEO, have joined TechNet’s Executive Council.

With over two decades of legal experience in the private and public sector, Kate Adams joined Apple in 2017, where she serves on the company’s executive team and oversees all legal matters. Matt Cain has spent nearly two decades in leadership positions within the technology industry and now leads Couchbase, which helps businesses in nearly every sector remain at the forefront of digital innovation.

These two leaders are lending their experience and expertise to TechNet to help advance pro-innovation policies.

In joining TechNet’s Executive Council, Cain issued the following statement: “America’s technology sector is advancing world-changing innovations faster than ever, and our policies need to keep pace with and stimulate this progress and economic opportunity. For the U.S. to remain the world’s preeminent innovation leader, we must keep engaging policymakers at all levels of government.
