Henrico County-based Bold Rock Engineering Group, a mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering firm that has operated for nearly four decades, has been acquired.
AKF Group, a New York-based firm, expanded its presence in the Southeast with the acquisition of Bold Rock.
Terms of the deal, announced Wednesday, were not disclosed.
AKF said its presence in the Richmond area will allow the firm to provide additional support to existing clients, such as VCU Health, James Madison University, Inova Health, and Children’s National Medical Center.
