Fantasy Baseball Risers, Fallers: May 14, 2018

The decision to cut bait on a struggling fantasy baseball player who you were high on throughout March is always a difficult. I'm having that debate now with Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis. The veteran had a great spring and has a track record of being a solid fantasy contributor. Kipnis was also a strong draft-day value, so the risk wasn't much and he was going to hit second in a solid Indians lineup. Even though everything lined up for Kipnis to have a good season, it just hasn't materialized yet.

Being stubborn doesn't win fantasy championships, and we are quickly reaching the point where we have to cut our losses on players who aren't performing.
