Prior to his position with AM LLC, Mahalec worked as a lead solution and system architect on projects that ranged from small company initiatives to large-scale client implementations. He also combined his background in system modeling, technology modernization and development with new technologies to create innovative and sustainable solutions. Mahalec worked with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and received recognition for the accuracy and extent of his work there.

Mahalec earned a Bachelor’s in chemical engineering and a Master’s in information systems from Carnegie Mellon University. He also received a Master’s in investment management from Boston University.
