"Putting clients first remains our top priority as we continue to focus on delivering personalized financial advice," said Ryan Parker, CEO of Edelman Financial Services. "This accolade is a testament to our firm's commitment to our clients and we are honored to be recognized for the fifth consecutive year by Financial Times."

"Our clients have always come first, ever since we started the firm more than 30 years ago," said Ric Edelman, founder and executive chairman of Edelman Financial Services. "We are honored that Financial Times has recognized our commitment."

The annual FT 300 list is produced by Financial Times in collaboration with Ignites Research, a subsidiary of FT that provides business intelligence on the investment management industry. RIA firms applied for consideration and met a minimum set of criteria. Applicants were then assessed on six factors: assets under management (AUM), AUM growth rate, years in existence, advanced industry credentials of the firm's advisers, online accessibility and compliance records.
