Loyola University volleyball players Mackenzie Fedota and Ann Ernst got more than they bargained for during a recent tour of Europe with a team of Patriot League all-stars.
Volleyball aside, Ernst and Fedota had the good fortune of being in soccer-crazed Europe during the World Cup. The experience was memorable.
"We were in the middle of [London] and got to experience the English team's quarterfinal game," Ernst said. "Everybody was watching the game, and everyone was super excited when they won to go to the semifinals."
