Peraton Selected By the Department of Justice to Provide Specialized Cyber and Forensic Capabilities

HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Peraton has been awarded a strategic $9.45M contract by the Department of Justice to further enhance intrusion analysis capabilities and improve malware triage through automation, helping analysts respond quickly and efficiently to potential threats.

Through deep dive forensic analysis and malware reverse engineering, Peraton analysts will engage cutting-edge tools and techniques to determine the specifics of computer and network intrusions, and conduct full life cycle analysis of digital media. Specialized engineers will support the mission through the design, development, and maintenance of a malware triage and repository system.
