Forward Ricky Lindo's commitment to the Maryland men's basketball program Aug. 15 provided Terps head coach Mark Turgeon some much-needed reinforcements ahead of the 2018-19 season for a team that still features just 11 scholarship players.
The 6-foot-8 Lindo, a former Woodrow Wilson High School (Washington, D.C.) standout, signed with the Terps after seriously considering reclassifying to the class of 2019 and attending prep school for a year.
"It was a whirlwind," Lindo said of his recruitment on Glenn Clark Radio Aug. 17. "I'm glad I did it, though."
