
The Navy football team could not keep pace with Hawaii, losing 59-41 during the season opener in Honolulu on Sept. 1. The setback spoiled a homecoming for Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo, a native of La'ie, Hawaii, who also played quarterback and was an assistant for the Rainbow Warriors.
