When I interviewed wrestling superstar Cody Rhodes a week before the "All In" pay-per-view, he chose his words carefully when discussing the potential impact of the independent pro wrestling extravaganza he and fellow Ring of Honor stars The Young Bucks -- Matt and Nick Jackson -- conceived and self-funded.
"I'm not going to say this is a game-changing thing," Rhodes told me backstage during the ROH television taping in Philadelphia Aug 25. "I'm not going to say it's Woodstock for wrestling. But it definitely does have the potential, when we wake up Sept. 2, to be a completely different wrestling world, because this hasn't been done. It hasn't been self-funded, self-promoted, and it hasn't crossed the different borders that you're not supposed to cross."
