Here are my power rankings for Week 1 of the NFL season:
1. New England Patriots (3-1 preseason record, No. 3 ranking in preseason )
I know, I know, they've released more receivers this preseason than anonymous White House officials have compared our country's president to a 6-year old. But they're the Patriots. Their AFC East competition is akin to getting to play six games against the Baltimore Orioles. They're the favorites until they aren't.
