After switching positions as a freshman and still starting in half of her appearances for the Loyola University volleyball team, Alisah Cash had every reason to believe that she'd be a top contributor for the Greyhounds by her senior year.
A few weeks into her senior season it appears as though that assumption would have been correct. But Cash couldn't have foreseen the path she'd take to get to this point.
A 6-foot-3 middle blocker for Trinity High School in Camp Hill, Pa., Cash moved to right-side hitter for her first collegiate season, the position she would play for most of her freshman and sophomore seasons at Loyola. But after getting into 52 matches from 2015-2016, that number dipped to seven her junior year.
