B3 Group Inc., a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and health IT firm for the federal government, announced it was awarded a two-year, $7.8M contract to provide technical support for agile software development services for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

The Appeals Technical Support Agile Software Development Services task order was awarded under the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) IDIQ Contract, where B3 Group will work with the VA’s Technology Acquisition Center (TAC).

For this two-year engagement, B3 Group will provide the development services necessary for enhancements to the existing VACOLS web-based system, Resource Management System (RMS), developed using Ruby on Rails and hosted in the VA datacenter in Austin. Using Agile Methodology, the team will design, develop, install, integrate, customize and validate user defined requirements for web-based functionality and websites to support workflow processes.

This is the third contract awarded to B3 Group by the VA in the last two months. The company was awarded a contract with the VA’s eCMS Helpdesk in July and was awarded an additional contract with the Office of Information and Technology last week.
