Two-time super featherweight world champion boxer and Sandtown-Winchester native Gervonta “Tank” Davis was arrested early this morning after a fight outside a bar in downtown Washington D.C.

Davis and another man, Ricardo Jose Rodriguez, were seen arguing in the 1700 block of M Street NW, according to an arrest report provided by the Metropolitan Police Department. “The argument escalated when both subjects began fighting mutually by punching each other with a closed fist about the upper body,” the report says.

After others tried to break up the fight and one of the men chased the other, police stopped the pair and arrested both of them, charging them with disorderly conduct.
