Angela DeMahy Joins DLA Piper’s Telecom Practice in Washington, DC

DLA Piper announced today that Angela DeMahy has joined the firm’s Telecom practice as an associate in Washington, DC.

DeMahyjoins the firm from the Federal Communications Commission, where sheworked in the Competition and Infrastructure Policy Division and the Auction Division of the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, as well as the Telecommunications and Analysis Division of the International Bureau, as part of the agency’s Attorney Honors Program.

In addition toDeMahy, DLA Piper's Telecom practice, part of the firm's global Intellectual Property and Technology practice, has made a number of additions in recent months, including partnersGrace Koh,John BeahnandEdward "Smitty" Smith; and associatesDana Zelman,Ian ForbesandPeter Shroyer.

DeMahyreceived her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, her M.A. from the University of Central Florida and her B.A. from the University of Miami. She is admitted to practice law in Florida. She is not admitted to practice in Washington, DC.
