After a 29-point victory against Big Ten foe Minnesota Sept. 22, the Maryland football team is enjoying a bye week ahead of its matchup at No. 14 Michigan Sept. 29.
The bye week comes after just four games, but the Terps plan to take advantage of the rest for key players such as junior running backs Jake Funk and Lorenzo Harrison, both of whom have missed the past two games.
Right tackle Damian Prince also sat out the matchup with the Golden Gophers.
On the other side of the ball, the team's leader in the secondary, senior safety Darnell Savage Jr., left the Minnesota game early and didn't return. Canada did not have any injury updates during a Big Ten teleconference Sept. 25.
