The Maryland football team used its bye week to fix some of its own issues while also healing from early-season injuries before preparing for its tough test against No. 15 Michigan Oct. 6.
Terps interim head coach Matt Canada said during his weekly news conference Oct. 2 he wanted his players to use the week to focus on their health, academics and some self-scouting to improve their on-field performance.
"Last week was a bye week, great week for us to get back and focus on ourselves," Canada said. "I thought we did a good job of that."
