Circonus, Inc., a leading provider of analytics and monitoring solutions, announces the appointment of Jason Bobb to the position of Vice President of Sales. Bobb, a sales veteran with over 20 years of leadership within the technology industry, has joined Circonus from Canonical Ltd., where he was the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
Demand for Circonus has steadily grown over the last 24 months as enterprise IT environments have become increasingly diverse, often intermixing technologies such as public & private clouds, containers, and virtualization, alongside their traditional infrastructure. Bobb is tasked with further extending the adoption of Circonus, and leading the company's sales strategy.
"The monitoring market is predicted to steadily grow through 2023," said Bobb. "Circonus is well-positioned to help enterprise IT minimize operational expense, mitigate operational risk, and otherwise help these organizations focus on their core competencies. Bobb led sales globally for Canonical Ltd., where he has been credited with significant contributions to their growth. Prior to joining Canonical Ltd., Bobb held sales leadership positions for both regional and global accounts at CenturyLink/Qwest and Lucent Technologies.
He holds a B.S. in Psychology from East Stroudsburg University and a Business Leadership certificate from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business. He is currently based out of New Orleans.
