Industry Veteran to Lead AbleVets Through Next Phase of Growth

CHANTILLY, Va. - Oct. 9, 2018 - AbleVets LLC, a leading provider of health IT solutions forgovernment, today announced Hildi Pineda as its president effective immediately. In this role, Ms. Pineda will apply her extensive expertise in federal health IT consulting and management to drive continued corporate growth and champion AbleVets' transition from a small to mid-tier business.

Ms. Pineda, one of the firm's first employees, previously served as chief growth officer. Under her leadership, AbleVets achieved 400 percent year-over-year growth and established itself as a go-to partner in health systems integration and development for high-priority federal health programs at Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and other civil and defense agencies. Pineda was instrumental in AbleVets' recent selection as a core partner supporting Cerner in its mission to modernize VA's electronic health care record and provide seamless care to Veterans. Her business development efforts and strategic vision have enabled AbleVets to demonstrate its unique clinical and technical expertise in developing Veteran-centric solutions at scale, while successfully delivering complex priority programs on time and within budget.

Earlier this year, Ms. Pineda's accomplishments earned her a place on FCW's 2018 Federal 100 list. Notably, AbleVets was named AFCEA International's 2018 Small Business of the Year, ranked No. 3 on Washington Technology's 2018 Fast 50 list of fastest growing small businesses in government and appeared on Washington Business Journal's 2018 list of the largest Veteran-owned companies in the D.C. region.
