Dominion CFO Retires

Dominion Energy announced that one its senior vice presidents will become its new chief financial officer next month.

James R. “Jim” Chapman, 49, will succeed longtime Dominion employee Mark F. McGettrick.

McGettrick, executive vice president and CFO, will step down as CFO Nov. 1. He will officially retire on Jan. 1, capping a 38-year career at Dominion.

Chapman, treasurer and senior vice president, mergers and acquisitions, joined Dominion in 2013 after more than 20 years in investment banking and corporate finance, mostly in the utility and energy sector. He assumed his current post in February 2016. Once he becomes the company's chief financial officer, he is expected to retain his role as treasurer.
