Constantinos Salonidis

Foley Hoag LLP has announced that international counsel Constantinos Salonidis has been promoted to partner.

Salonidis’ practice focuses on international dispute resolution, especially in cases before the International Court of Justice and arbitration panels administered under the ICSID, UNCITRAL and ICC Arbitration Rules, where he represents exclusively sovereign clients. He was a key part of the Foley Hoag teams that successfully represented India, Slovakia, Belgium and Uruguay in investment treaty arbitration. In recognition of his work, Slovakia appointed Salonidis to the ICSID List of Conciliators in 2016.

"Throughout his tenure within the firm's International Litigation and Arbitration Department, Constantinos has proven to be a considerable asset to many of our foreign clients in need of assistance with dispute resolution," said Foley Hoag Co-Managing Partner Kenneth Leonetti. “We are pleased to welcome him to the partnership.”

Salonidis is currently acting for India, Mauritius and Ecuador in investor-State arbitration matters, and Qatar in various international legal proceedings, including before the International Court of Justice. He holds the Diploma in Public International Law of The Hague Academy of International Law (2006), which is awarded very sparingly, and recently served as Director of Studies in English for the summer 2018 Public International Law session of the Academy.
