Perhaps you might be willing to look past it, but not only did it cost the Baltimore Ravens the game against the New Orleans Saints, it could prove to be the turning point for the season.
You can't possibly think I'm talking about kicker Justin Tucker missing an extra point. It was stunning and potentially very costly, but Tucker has built up enough equity here that he has earned the right to cost the team a single loss. Obviously it can't become a pattern, but there's not a whole lot more that can be said about it. I mean, we forgave Tom Hanks for "Larry Crowne," right?
The issue that stood out most to me during the Ravens' Week 7 loss was the same issue they've dealt with all season. For as good as they've been in most areas, the Ravens can't seem to run the ball.
