
Navy fell behind early and could not close the margin in a 44-22 loss to No. 3 Notre Dame before a sellout crowd of 63,626 at San Diego County Credit Union Stadium. The Midshipmen have lost five consecutive games and fell to 2-6 on the season. The Fighting Irish kept their national title hopes intact.
