One of the great mysteries in sports is the group that looks like a winner on paper and seems to have an abundance of talent, but just can't put it all together at the right time. That's how Morgan State volleyball head coach Ramona Riley-Bozier has felt about her teams the past several years.
This season she seems to have stumbled upon a solution.
Most of her team, including the incoming freshmen, spent a large part of the summer together on campus. They attended classes, got to know each other, bonded, trained and played in what amounted to pick-up games in a relaxed setting without pressure or coaches scrutinizing their every move.
